The Fresh Fest 2008 tour came to the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro last weekend. The show was headlined by Doug E. Fresh and the "World's Greatest Entertainer" didn't fail to impress. Doug E. performed all of his hits and even went further into the archives to give the people what they came to see. 

Rap icons, Naughty by Nature, also rocked the stage with their catalog of Hip-Hop classics. In between the sets, DC's legendary DJ Kool kept the audience pumped with non-stop Hip-Hop and Go-Go hits. DJ Kool also joined Doug E. Fresh on stage for the "Grand Finale" rendition of "I'm Getting Ready". In attendance was up-and-coming DC artist Darlette Gayle, be on the look out for her CD "Whyte Chocolate".
