YOUTH EXCEL (HYE, INC.)
Helping Youth Excel (HYE,
Inc.) provides support to at risk youth in the District of Columbia area. HYE Inc.
provides mentoring, professional job skills, and educational training. HYE Inc. was founded by Carolyn Ferguson and Natania
Bowen. HYE
Inc. will partner with public, private, and charter schools in the District of Columbia. This organization is in direct response
to the growing number of young people who are currently "falling through the cracks" at school. The goal of our
organization is to identify youths who are having a turbulent transition to adulthood, and offer a positive support system
to steer them around the pitfalls which can derail their futures.
